Our New Dog!

This is our first family Dog, Daisy! We've been wanting a dog for a long time, but I thought I should wait until Londyn was a little older. Then we had an opportunity to adopt this amazing Labradoodle for free and we could not pass it up! These dogs sell for $1800 to $2500, and I know why.... this dog is adorable and PERFECT! Has not barked or whined, eats a handfull of food a day, and only needs to be taken out to do her business twice a day! Perfect dog, and all ours! She is in love with Preslee, but the rest of us are okay!

We should have taken more pictures..... we had hamburgers and hot dogs and so many people were there. It was a beautiful evening! Perfect for a 9/11 birthday party! Since this Little Man calls himself "domino master" he wanted a domino party. Kind of hard to incorporate the theme into a children's birthday party, but we tried.

The favorite toy of the children, mom's least favorite, only because I have to listen to power tools first thing in the morning!

Deacorating our Pinata bags. The got polka dots to make their own domino bag.....

Sitting inside the protective circle. Great strategy for not getting anyones head knocked off.

Didn't make this one. I was going to, but Little man saw this one at Winco and I relented.

I did make the domino cake!

The extra dominos were Preslee's touch...... much to my surprise.

Gardening!

See this huge Zucchini....... Londyn thinks its pretty cool too! It came out of our garden. Missed it somehow. Stay tuned for when it turns into Zucchini BREAD. Cruel to veggies I know but VERY necessary!

This is my Beautiful Garden. Don't mind the hockey stick in the back ground. That was me improvising on the trellis Dustin was supposed to build to keep my peas from falling on the ground. So I built it with junk in our backyard.

Art Fair

At the art fair I dropped 15 dollars on tickets for activities, and the kids just wanted their faces painted (most expensive) and swords and hats made out of newspaper. So that is what they got and they had fun, but next time we are showing up with our faces already painted and I'm gonna make the hats and swords at home and save myself 15 bucks!

OH DOMINO!

We had a garage sale and I let the kids split up the money to spend at Walmart. Deacon picked Dominos and this is what he does with them. It is stinking cute! He calls himself "The Domino Master." He blows them down!

sickness sucks!

The past two weekends the Mom has been sick. Dustin was gonna take me out on the town, we had a babysitter and EVERYTHING. I started getting a pain in my breast and within hours I had a fever! It alway happens when my husband wants to take me out on a date! Guess we don't do it often enough!!! Since the infection came on a Saturday I thought I'd sweat it out after talking to a neighbor. Treated my self with heated massages, and Oil of Oregano rubs, and garlic pills. Saturday was rough but I never took a fever reducer and my fever never rose above 102. The week went okay and I took it easy until Thursday when I started back up on my workout routine. But then Friday night it all came back again, same breast! Mastitis is one of the worst things a mommy can get! Totally kicks you in the bummm! And to top it off Dustin was not home for the weekend and he didn't bring his phone with him. GRRRR! But I did step away from my natural healing methods and went to the doctor for some anti-biotics. I will be taking plentiful doses of pro biotics to reverse the effects of the loss of good bacteria in my body! So happy to be feeling better!!!

4th of July Weekend!

All the cousins had a blast when we went camping on the fourth. We went camping at Detroit with the whole Sellers family! The harriest moments were when the kids hurt themelves as they came speeding down the hill on their scooters wearing flip-flops and shorts. Dustin got many oohs and ahhs from his peanut butter-chocolate s'mores and many more were eaten than should have been. The best part about it for me was NOT having to hear fireworks all night cause no fireworks were allowed, just the big show over the lake and that was it! I know... that is just me getting old! Dustin was the best dad, uncle, brother, husband, and son again. He showed all the kids how to fish and let them all take a turn casting and holding the pole. The fish weren't biting this trip. Maybe next time! Here are just a few pictures I remembered to take.
