Halloween!

Best costumes ever right!  This mom loves the festivities of Halloween, but I truly do hate the candy.  Can't we please have a holiday where I know my children will not walk away on a sugar high and bad teeth?

Tradition!

She wanted a movie, then insisted on popcorn, and it wasn't long before i went to check on her and found her behind the couch cushions like this...... pretty cute!

Happy 11 Pretzel!

My little girl is growing up!  This is the only good picture we got this year... the others were all wrong !  She did not want a friend party this year... she just wanted to go shopping with me!  So she got to watch a movie on the eve of her birthday with Mom and Dad and then got to skip school on her Birthday to go shopping!  Then, that night, she went to a friends party.  She may have said it was her best birthday ever...!!!

Our Karate Kid

Deacon wanted to take a Karate class for his birthday.  We signed him up for 8 weeks of class and he had a blast!  His very last class happened to be a award program where he performed his amazing moves in front of a hundred or so spectators.  I'll never forget, "ONE SIR.... TWO SIR!"  It was pretty dang cute!

Fall Apples... YUM!

I picked a bunch of apples, made apple sauce, apple pie filling, apple crisp, apple butter, and of course I am trying to dry as many as I can before these fresh, organic, goodies are all gone.  The cousins helped and had a blast.  I should have them over again when I need a little help!

Sometimes we do fun things... besides the usual fun things.  It was a cold day, but the kids didn't care because they had warm apple cider doughnuts to look forward to.
