Our Trip to California!
Our Nanny passed away recently, so Dustin, Londyn, and I headed to California for the funeral. Nanny loved Disneyland so we went to check it out. Now I love it too! After the first ride, Soaring over California, which isn't even Disneyland yet, I was convinced we needed to buy a timeshare cause it is the coolest place ever! It is more amazing than I ever imagined! If you haven't figured it out yet, it was my first time. Now when I see disney commercials I get all excited and remenber how magical it all is! I want to put a BIG THANK-YOU out to Aimee and her friend Jeff for getting us into the park FREE! Yes..... they are both Disney dancers! We hob nob with the famous! I want to send one more thank you to my Mom and Kim for watching the other three kids so we could go! And to Julie and Lisa who took the boys during the day so Kim could have a break. Its great to be surrounded by such great people I love!

My very first ride. I wasn't too sure what to think!

You knoe we had to go on this one! It made Dustin sick, so i'll have to take the kids when we come!
Don't i look like I belong here, at least once a year!
When i asked Mr. incredible if he worked out he just grinned that goofy grin he has now!
Oh Goofy!
If you had never had Sellers/ Lohman tacos you are missing out. They aren't the most fat free delacacies but they are tasty. Since we were hosted by such an awesome family, we decided to cook dinner on Sunday. We made 180 tacos. It was a group effort and everyone was able to eat their fill! Dustin, Jeff, and Kyle did the most of the cooking and the rest of us helped cut up the garnishes and of course I taste tested the pico de gallo to make sure Keri did a good job.......She did!

Here we are at the funeral. Dustin had to buy a black suit so he'd fit in with the other guys carrying the casket. Don't they all looks so classy? Will he ever wear it again?? Who knows? The funeral services were beautiful. I was out during most of the services with my fussy Londyn, but I did get to watch them on television with no volume. The Grave Side was very nice. We released butterflies to honor Nanny's life, and I gotta say it was very special. The butterflies started flying and most of them settled right on the flowers adroning the casket. It was the perfect silent moment to honor our Nanny and the light she shed on so many lives.
